20.7.08 Body off
I got back from Lrm Billing at 4.30Pm on the 20th (July). I couldnt resist getting on with the land rover so i soon got cracking. My neighbour came round to help me and by 7Pm we had removed the roof, tub and wings!

Good work, you're far ahead of me :o)
I like the detail of the side hinged rear door? Does the conversion work, or is it flappy?
My goal is to get the Land Rover bought as a non-runner to an MOT'd state that I can drive as my first car. Apart from fitting a galvanised chassis made by Richard Chassis I hope to build my own wiring harness with modern fuses and relays. I will try to replace every possible nut and bolt so that i can easily do field repairs and know exactly whats what. A 200Tdi engine and parabolic springs are also some of the mods I hope to get to know as much about Land Rovers and mechanics as possible. My final objective is to do a small overland trip with my dad but we have not really discussed that...
